goodbye 2011, cheers to 2012

i’ve had a good year to say the least. so much better than 2010 that’s for sure. i’ve met so many great people that have impacted my life in both positive and negative ways. i’ve learned a lot, to say the least. people aren’t always going to be there for you as much as you hope that they will. it’s inevitable that you are going to get hurt and be vulnerable. but that’s life. you live, you learn and then you die. not everyone is going to always understand why you do the things you do. but as long as you believe you are doing the right thing then at the end of the day i believe that’s all that matters. this year went by so fast. it’s probably cause i’ve spent so much of my time at work, literally 75% of the year has been spent there. i love my job and the people i work with. but i’ve also come to realize that because of this i have lost so many valuable friendships. one of my new years resolutions is to mend those friendships, and focus more on my friends and family. i will have plenty of jobs in the future, but i need to work on maintaining my relationships with people. thank you to everyone that has been there for me. i hope everyone has a safe & happy new years. <3
